Pork Roast

INGREDIENTS

1 Pork Roast

Salt & Pepper

Oil

DIRECTIONS: 

Take a Pork Roast (fully Thawed) and let sit out for 1hour to bring up to room temperature…..

Preheat Oven to 450
1st take Pork Roast and salt and pepper the outside.
Heat Frying pan/ Cast Iron Pan (a pan that can transfer to the oven) with oil on top of the stove, over medium / high heat, Brown Pork Roast on all sides.

Once Browned add 1 – 2 cups of water to bottom of the pan and place in Preheated Oven @ 450 and bake for 30 minutes.

Then turn Oven down to 300 and turn the roast to the other side, loosely cover Roast with Tinfoil sheet
Bake Pork Roast for 2- 2.5 hours at 300 degrees, turning the Roast every 30 minutes

*make sure to add water to bottom of the pan, if it gets dry in the pan.

Remove Roast from the oven and let sit @ 1hour

 

*side note….I used some Cooked slices of this Pork Roast to make my recipe for Shanghai Noodles with Pork.
