Homemade Salsa

INGREDIENTS.…..  Make 2 Medium size Salsa Jars

Tomatoes

Green Bell Pepper

Red Bell Pepper

Jalapeño Pepper

Onion

Himalayan Sea Salt

Garlic Salt

Onion Salt

Paprika

1 regular can Tomato Sauce

Sugar (Brown or White)

Vinegar

optional…..  Cilantro and Mango

DIRECTIONS:  

Preheat oven to Broil and on a sheet pan add…
12 – 15 Tomatoes
1 Green Pepper
1 Red Pepper
1 Jalopeno Pepper
Heat till Tomato skins start to peel back @ 5 – 10 minutes, and turn over and do the other side
If the peppers start to turn brown / black remove them from the oven.
once tomatoes done – Remove….

*Peel the skins off the Tomatoes but not the peppers and chop them
In a Dutch Oven / Large Pot

Add Tomatoes & Peppers
1 Onion diced
1 Tbsp Himalayan Sea Salt
2 tsp EACH Garlic Salt, Onion Salt & Paprika
1/2 Can Tomato Sauce
Bring to a bubble, reduce Heat and simmer 30 minutes
Then add in.

¼ cup EACH Sugar (brown or white) & Vinegar
The rest of the can of Tomato Sauce
Continue to simmer 30 minutes

Optional….Cilantro & Mango
