Alberta Chili

INGREDIENTS…….  makes 10 servings

1 package ground Beef & ground Turkey

Onion

Celery

Garlic

Can Each of Kidney & Black Beans (drained & rinsed)

1 Can Brown Beans

1 large can Stewed Tomatoes

Sliced Mushrooms

Bay Leaf

Chili Powder, Cumin, Paprika, Cinnamon, & Cayenne Pepper

Salt & Pepper

Brown Sugar

Apple Cider Vinegar

1 Green Bell Pepper

Cilantro (optional)

DIRECTIONS

Heat on Medium Dutch Oven (large Pot) and add Oil,

Brown 1 pkg ground Beef, & 1 pkg ground Turkey
add in 1 chopped Onion, 2 stalks Celery chopped
5 cloves Garlic minced

simmer on Med / low heat till fragrant and onions are translucent @ 10 minutes

Then add
1 can Each Kidney Bean & Black Beans (FIRST drain & rinsed with water till clear)
1 can brown bean (DONT DRAIN OR RINSE)
1 large can Stewed Tomatoes
Basket sliced / washed mushrooms.
Bay leaf (optional)
2 Tbsp Chili Powder,
1 Tbsp Each Cumin, & Paprika
½ Tbsp Cinnamon, and Cayenne Pepper (optional)

salt & pepper to taste
Bring to boil, reduce to simmer for 30 minutes
Add
2 Tbsp Each Brown Sugar & Apple Cider Vinegar
Continue to simmer 30 minutes to 1 hour….Add some water if its looking low

FINISH AND TOP with ½ green bell pepper diced & 1/4 cup chopped Cilantro
