INGREDIENTS….makes @ 8 servings
1 Can Beer
Ketchup
Apple Cider Vinegar
Brown Sugar
Worcestershire Sauce
Cayenne Pepper, Garlic Salt, Onion Salt, Paprika, Dry Mustard
Salt & Pepper
2 Cans Water Chestnuts
1 package Bacon
toothpicks
DIRECTIONS
Homemade BBQ sauce (below) or store-bought BBQ sauce
BBQ Sauce
In a cooking Pot add…
1 can of Beer, ½ cup Ketchup, ¼ cup Each Apple Cider Vinegar & Brown Sugar
2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce. 1 tsp Each Cayenne pepper, Garlic salt, Onion salt, & Paprika
1 Tbsp Dry Mustard (or regular mustard) ….Salt and pepper (desired amount)
Simmer till thickened about 30 – 45 minutes, stirring often.
In the meantime….
Take 2 cans Water Chestnuts (Whole) and drain.
1 pkg Bacon sliced in 1/3
Wrap each water chestnut with the bacon and toothpick.
Place on cookie sheet with parchment paper
Bake in the oven 400 for 30 minutes
Take out add BBQ sauce….turn each one…..add more BBQ sauce
Bake on 325 for 25 minutes
